Happy Friday, Eagles!
A familiar road, but this time there is a fog that renders the road an unfamiliar look…
Sometimes as we going about our day to day activities, a situation, problem or circumstance can lead us into the unfamiliar. On last weekend, I drove to Weight Watchers meeting for my Saturday ritual. However, on the way, the roads in Trussville were full of fog. I finally got through the fog and reached my meeting. On the way home there was fog covering a fork in the highway. The path looked so unfamiliar, that I couldn’t recognize it. I knew it was the right direction, simply because of memory.
The best thing about the fog is that you can get through it. None of us are exempt from life’s interruptions to our plans and routines. Isaiah 43:2 says, “When you pass through the waters I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned. The flames will not set you ablaze.” God will bring us through. He can bring us through anything. Even in life’s fog, when everything looks unfamiliar, you will be reminded that He brought you through the last time.
